A Canon 24-105 camera lens mug. Very silly, halfway convincing from a distabnce.
A mac tower model A1289, comes with a later upgraded 6 core CPU and Radeon 5770 GPU&. Boots into knoppix fine but is missing the OS drive.
We may restore this to working condition, will probably put in an M.2 NVME drive on a PCIe adaptor for the boot drive.
A Jabra Engage 75 headset. Works fine with no apparent reason for discard, but I guess we may find something after a little more testing. Using it for now.
This is a model with DECT wireless so has nice long range. In particular, this model works in the corporate coffee room while on a call. A different model of Jabra we had previously started breaking up in the coffee room. This device now allows for greater levels of work emulation.
A random little Samsung camera. The battery (visible in picture) was bulging slightly and the camera only powered up for a second or two. New battery acquired and installed and it works fine.
Not sure of the quality yet on the pics but the tiny form factor is really nice.
A nice looking Sony tape deck. Both the belts on it were turned into a sticky black goo in a way that somewhat defies intuitive understanding of materials. New belts acquired and installed, a drop of sewing machine oil on the capstan motor bearings and it is good to go.
Installing the belts was kind of tricky and a little daunting first time through. Now we have done it once it seems much more approachable should we have to do it to another such device.
A Yamaha AX-V375 receiver unit. Everything works fine. Somebody in my town just ditched their stack of black boxes under the TV in favor of a roku stick or some such.
A small but relatively tall All-Clad pot. Quite nice and handy. Probably used very little if ever by the previous owner.
A nice little Stanley Bradawl in good condition. Not sure if we need it but we are not going to leave that lying around to be scrapped.
A random Sony amplifier clearly built in the age of complicated video stacks, having endless HDMI inputs and surround sound and all kinds of nonsense. Just playing a CD through this thing is kind of hard work.
This era is over in the sense that we have changed the experience by softwarizing it all into streaming apps and such, rather than havingh a pile of 17 inch wide black boxes.
We are not fans of this type of device, but we wanted an amplifier so we grabbed this one.
A random faux vintage side table. It was missing one of the bolts from the lower shelf, but we can one in stock we cut down to fit. Ready to go and be faux vintage in somebody's abode.
Another cluster of pretty random lamps, rescued and tested. Not as ugly some batches we have found in the past.
A wooden dining table with a few dings but otherwise in nice usable condition. We gave it a polish and it is ready to be used by somebody who currently does not have such an item.
Some dining chairs with a slightly weird metal and wood construction but in perfectly usable condition.
An All-Clad stauinless steel double boiler. Of course we have the pot that fits underneath this so we could just keep this and use it. Not sure if we have need for it though.
A pair of random stools that seem to be quite usable. Will be made available to some people who have the need for them.
An assortment of lamps. All tested and working and ready to be supplied to places that need light.
An Eley portable hose reel in good condition. It is not clear it has even really been used, but whatever.
Available to friends.
A random Pentax K1000 camera found in the scrap metal. This will be sent into the school with a student to form the bases of a "found camera" media project.
Yet another Dyson V7 vacuum. This one has weird stickers on it, almost looks like a former demo model or something. It works fine and the battery even seems in good condition. There is piece of tape on the back, we may have to investigate that.
A random no-name steel skillet with long handle. Needed a clean and a little bit of a fresh cure.
A huge pile of lamps today, all tested and sent off with a short turnaround.

Williams Sonoma tin lined copper pans, made in France. The tin is pretty scruffy, though one of them may have been retinned.
An assortment of bike wheels from Bontrager that appear to be replacement take-ff parts. First, a matched pair of front wheels though one is missing the brake disk.
Next a non-matched pair. The rear has a nice clean one-by cluster on it and a tyre. Bonus!
They all seem to run true and are undamaged. Also present another similar rear rear wheel with the ratchet mechanism all screwed up and half falling off.
Two random side tables with built in magazine racks in the rear. They are junky chipboard with a shiny and fancy looking veneer finish. But that is fine, somebody out there will get these.
A selection of bike handlebars that seems to be new-takeoff. various types, mostly carbon fiber composite. Another one not present in the image.
A random side table thingy that has been modified. It got a clean and polish and will be deployed into and living unit soon.
A set of four folding chairs. Three of them needed the back rest peice regluing and they all needed a clean. They are kind of nice, not sure what we will do with them.
A somewhat antique dining table aand two chairs, possibly matching. Cleaned up and ready to go.
